The AIP Enterprise and the AIP Professional solutions are made up of a number of individual software products, as follows
| Area | Software | Description |
Business
|
Model Builder |
The Model Builder has an intuitive editor used to configure models which connect costs, drivers and service outputs, typically over periods of 30 to 50 years with 5 year time horizons. It includes a performance model editor. |
|
Optimiser |
The Optimiser is used to identify the optimum investment strategy at least cost based on user-specified objectives and constraints, which can be differentiated through time and by area. It allows very large combinatorial problem to be solved. |
|
Results Viewer |
The Results Viewer allows examination and analysis of model outputs/optimisations: detailed reports are viewed with all data exportable in common formats. |
|
WISE: What-If Scenario Evaluator |
The WISE provides an intuitive interface to build "What If" scenarios and sensitivity analyses. For example, this allows the user to compare different strategies with ease. It allows the user to examine the impact on uncertainty associated with input data. The WISE application allows end-to-end analysis from specifying scenarios through to calculating, collating and comparing key results. |
Engineering
|
Scheduler with Prioritiser |
In a GIS environment, the Scheduler takes model outputs and enables intervention scheme planning through the visual selection of assets. Scheme building and validation tasks can be efficiently performed by planning engineers in a familiar environment. The Prioiritiser assists by using local information to highlight the most investment-worthy assets. |
|
Pre-Scheme Assessor |
The PrSA allows the reconciliation of the planning engineers' schemes with investment strategy produced using the Business Tools. |
|
Post-Scheme Assessor |
The PoSA is used downstream of scheme implementation to assess impact. |
Data & Audit
|
Secure Storage & Audit service |
The SSAs is a repository for data in its various stages of processing through the asset investment planning cycle. It interfaces to all Business, Engineering, and IPM tools, tracking and time-stamping all relevant data, files, documents and analyses to give a full audit trail. |
Template Project Workflow service |
The TPWs automates and assists in project delivery. It manages and guides data analysis, model building, results analysis and dissemination, and quality assurance. |
|
Data Import & Transform Tools |
This mini-suite provides import, transformation, cleaning, auditing & export of data. |
The IPM suite is used by organisations with multiple service delivery streams (e.g. electricity, water distribution, water treatment) and therefore sizeable investment requirements and alternatives. It allows organisations to balance projects across these streams to achieve their required outputs. The suite focuses on the full life cycle management of Risks and Solutions, allowing examination of the likely service outputs and costs for any given solution or strategy.
