John Phillips, Chairman
John is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institutions of Electrical Engineers and Information Systems. Working at CEO level he has a strong background in the strategic development of technology products and services in the Manufacturing and Utilities sectors. John is also Chairman of Business Link South Yorkshire and has advisory roles in Telecommunications and Environmental business.
Dr Mark Engelhardt, Science Director
Co-founder of SEAMS, Mark's specialist subject is infrastructure asset management. Mark developed the principles of WiLCO, drawing upon his world-leading expertise in optimisation technologies, and the years he spent in academia. Within the commercial environment of SEAMS, he continues to drive ongoing development of WiLCO technology. As Science Director, Mark is charged with developing new applications of WiLCO - both in industry and in academia.
Mark Turner, Technology Director
As Technology Director, Mark leads the development team at SEAMS. He sets the priorities for developing the software, to meet user requirements. To make WiLCO the pre-eminent decision-support software, he draws on a decade's experience in senior software development. His delivery of highly successful projects for blue-chip companies in the petrochemical and telecoms sectors puts Mark at the forefront of developing complex systems for infrastructure, data warehousing and asset management. He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng), Chartered IT Professional (CITP) and has recently become a Fellow of the British Computer Society (FBCS).
Dr David Bramwell, Non-Executive Director
David Bramwell, chairman of Rights & Issues Investment Trust Plc, and of Intelek Plc., brings strong financial and governance expertise to the SEAMS Board. Until recently, David was CEO of Peterhouse Group Plc.
